Charles G. D. Roberts

Born in Douglas, New Brunswick, Charles G. D. Roberts was one of the core members of the Canadian Confederation poets, along with his cousin Bliss Carman, Archibald Lampman, and Duncan Campbell Scott. Roberts taught in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, writing nature poetry that reflected Maritime life.
